Everyone that ordered the below Italians they arrived yesterday and anyone that is interested…!

2012 Antonio Sasa Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC

We have yet to experience an Antonio Sasa wine which is not enchanting. The completely delightful 2012 Antonio Sasa Ripasso is no exception. The nose is jammy blueberry with rose petals. I am not the only person who has picked up exactly that nose, yet I hesitate to use the phrase, jammy. The flavor profile encompasses blueberry, blackberry and cherry mixed with hints of spice including cinnamon.
This wine is very easy to drink! Dinner wise it will match with virtually anything. (150 CASES PRODUCED!) Price $26.99, 10% off 6, 15% off 12

2009 Antonio Sasa Etna Rosso
Last week we enjoyed a wine made by Antonio Sasa Called Etna Rosso, specifically the 2009 vintage. They only made 2000 bottles (167 cases), I just secured 12 bottles which arrived yesterday. The grape varietal is Nerello Mascalese. The vineyard is miniscule, located atop Sicily’s Mount Etna. Antonio Sasa started with incredible mountain fruit which the Italians will tell you is most similar to Barolo and Barbaresco. When I tasted it I was expecting a Piedmont style how what I tasted was a complex Pinot Noir. I will tell you this wine is far more similar to great French Grand Cru Burgundy than it is anything else. This wine has a nose of rose-petals, cherry and camp fire smoke. The color is Burgundy Red and the palate is lush cherries jubilee. The finish is very long with a combination of crisp acidity and finally a hint of ash contributed by the volcanic soil from Mount Etna. Drink now or for another 6 years minimum. Price $46.99 10% off 6, 15% off 12

2010 Howell At The Moon Cabernet Sauvignon The Knoll Vineyard
Robert Parker Wine Advocate # 209 (Oct 2013) Rating: 93
Howell Mountain, Napa, North Coast, California
Drink: 2013 – 2023

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Knoll Vineyard is slightly more restrained aromatically, but it explodes on the palate, creating a broad swath of ripe cassis, black cherry, crushed rock and forest floor notes. Full-bodied, opulent and sexy, this beauty is ideal for drinking over the next decade.
Price $130.00, 10% off 6, 15% off 12

The stunning 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell at the Moon boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as beautiful, sweet black raspberry and black currant fruit intermixed with a hint of graphite, full body and a long finish.
