Just Returned from Sonoma / Open Tasting this Saturday!

Bacon Tasting Sold Out!

Before I get into our travels to Sonoma I wanted to mention we are SOLD OUT for the Hirsch’s Specialty Meats Bacon Pairing with Corner Wines on Monday November 3rd from 7-9pm. Just in case someone cancels we do have a waiting list. If you would like to add your name and phone number, send me an e-mail. I will let everyone know by Friday if anything opens up.

The five different bacon types selected will be:

Applewood Smoked, Canadian, Peppered Smoked Bacon, Hickory Smoked and Jalapeño bacons

(I am leaving the wine selections secret until the tasting)

We are holding the seating to 27 people for this tasting with a cost of $25.00/person.

We arrived in Sonoma last Thursday and returned last night, the trip was a combination half-marathon race, wine tastings and celebration of birthdays. Team Corner Wines was represented by the mother-daughter duo of Paddy Fairchild and Megan Strange who battled the rain, wind and hills. We congratulated Paddy and Megan by drinking wine. We also had four birthdays we celebrated by drinking wine and visited eight wineries and drank wine. Can you see a trend?

The wineries visited were Ravens Wood, Donatiello, Davis Family, Schug, Seghesio, Pezzi King, Korbin Kameron & Pedroni

Needless to say we enjoyed everyone that made the trip with us and look forward to our next adventure.

This Saturday November 1st we will have our November Specials tasting from 2-4pm. We will be tasting six wines which I will list on my Friday reminder e-mail. We hope to see you on Saturday.
